The past few years Target has become quite the go-to for me in terms of fashion finds. So affordable, so much cute stuff, and I basically live there anyway. You guys know I love a good Target find! Popped by my (2!) local Target stores yesterday for a quick little try-on session. I had noticed that there were so many good sweaters, I wanted to put together some fall looks.
While my local Target stores definitely aren’t the best Targets in the world, I can find a lot more fall stuff than I find back home in Miami, so I’m happy.
Let’s get into it?
The first thing I spotted that I was seriously SO psyched for was this tie front waffle knit henley top. A FLAWLESS DUPE for the Urban Outfitters top that rings up for $44. I’ve shared a couple from Amazon in the past, but the quality of the Target top is definitely best. It’s super soft and feels JUST LIKE the Urban Outfitters top. It’s available in 4 colors and I want them all.
I grabbed these jeans just to have a pair of jeans for my try-on, but I actually really liked them! Cheap distressed jeans can really be hit or miss, I’d say the quality on these was surprisingly good and they’re only $20!
I was shook by how high quality this faux fur vest is! Under $40? Get out of here. This beauty was super warm and will look amazing layered over pretty much anything from dresses to jeans and tops. It’s one size fits all!
I absolutely had to try on this super soft chenille kimono. Such a great layering piece to throw on over little fall dresses or over a top and jeans or leggings. Really nice quality.
Here’s the black version of the top! I paired it with my Spanx leather leggings which are definitely my go-to faux leather leggings. If you’re not into the idea of dropping $98 on a pair of leggings, I get you. Spanx makes a version for Target that is IDENTICAL, just with a normal legging material back. (Half the leggings, half the price.) I recommended them to a follower recently and she LOVED them. She suggested I do a comparison post and I think I may need to do it! If you don’t care about the back of the leggings not being faux leather, save yourself the $$ and buy the Target version.
I was really impressed by this sherpa sweater!! It has knit arms and a waterfall drape front… LOVE how cozy it was and it would look amazing with a variety of outfits. The faux suede was really pretty and rich.
This dropped sleeve striped tee is a definite wardrobe staple you’ll get so much wear out of! Plus, it’s only $10.
OK, we have to talk about this sherpa layering jacket. IT IS AMAZING. It’s different than the white, FYI. The sleeves are the same waffle knit thermal of the henley, so very light weight. The front is a cozy sherpa that’s basically a cozy blanket. THIS IS EVERYTHING. You need this. It’s so polished and would look so great with leather leggings too!
OK these jeans, I’m in love. They’re basically the same as my Levi’s 501s only they’re $22 and a little softer.
Loved the idea of pairing the with some cropped tops, so I tried out this cropped sweater and this twist front top.
This stripe sweater looks so expensive, it’s definitely amazing that it’s from Target! Love the oversized dramatic sleeve! Cozy and casual, this is a great low-key Thanksgiving outfit idea.
Printed eyelash cardigan, wearing a medium $34.99 | Black satin cami, wearing a medium, could’ve sized up to large, also available in white, $17.99 | High rise skinny jeans, run a little big, $27.99 | Booties
This eyelash cardigan was like butter– so silky and soft and warm. Love the print and it was very neutral even though it’s not really a basic.
Didn’t love the fit on these jeans, I think I tried them too big, but I’d say Target has better denim options than these.
Chenille cocoon sweater, available in 4 colors, $29.99, | Black satin cami, wearing a medium, could’ve sized up to large, also available in white, $17.99 | High rise skinny jeans, run a little big, $27.99 | Booties
This chenille cocoon sweater is a great buy– available in 4 colors and very cozy. I like the shape of the front, the subtle curved hem is very flattering.
Love the fur sleeve detail on this cardigan. The oversized fit was ok, this wasn’t the best cardi out there, but it’s very soft and comfy.
This open cardigan is really nice, very high quality. Love the color for fall, this would be a great cardi for Thanksgiving! This white long sleeve tee is a great basic, not sheer at all and the perfect length. I was able to get the perfect half tuck!
I think I recreated this exact outfit in my LOFT try-on session a few weeks ago! A slightly cheaper version of that outfit, this chenille cardigan is under $30 and is so soft and cozy– I need every color!
Wrap coats just remind me of Olivia Pope lol. This black and white plaid is kind of on the lightweight side, so definitely better for fall than winter. I like the plaid print and the fit, but it’s not the best quality winter coat out there. Definitely more decorative than functional.
So this jumpsuit is really more summer than fall, definitely transitional. I love the tie detail and the wide leg fit– it felt so comfy and cozy, just like pjs.
OK so I needed to try this on one size up! I wasn’t sure if it was supposed to be a sweaterdress or a tunic with leggings… I guess it’s up to you. If you buy it TTS, you probably need to do it with leggings. If you size up one, I think it’ll be perfect as a sweaterdress. Great Thanksgiving outfit though, available in 7 colors!
This photo makes the jacket look more tan, but it’s a light pink. It has rose gold hardware and was really pretty! I sized down.
This bishop sleeve sweater gave me all the holiday feels! Very soft and comfy, this beauty will be perfect for holiday photos or casual holiday gatherings! It’s available in 5 colors if you want something a little more subtle.
Hope you enjoyed this try-on session! Hit the comments and let me know– are you picking up any of these items? Where else would you like to see try-on sessions from?
