Disclaimer: I am not a “cool girl”. I am not pretending to be a “cool girl”. Newsboy cap? Not cool enough to wear it without looking like an idiot. Uber trendy lipstick shades, like brown? Not cool enough. This cardigan, however? I don’t think you need to BE a “cool girl” to pull it off. Even though all the “cool girls” of Instagram are wearing it, I think it’s insanely wearable and super cozy for fall and winter. I know, I know… another day, another “cozy cardigan”, but isn’t that just how we roll come fall? I want to throw a cozy cardigan over EVERYTHING; jeans, dresses, you name it. I actually wear a cardigan or jacket year round, even here in Miami. While it may be warm to hot outside at all times, INSIDE? Stores and restaurants BLAST the a/c and it’s freezing.
The open weave on this oversized cardigan is perfect for Florida… it’s not stifling and not TOO warm. If you layer it over something long sleeve or a lighter weight knit, it’s perfect for colder climates too. It’s available in olive, royal blue, pink, and cream… all are must haves!
