I hope you had a great weekend! Can you believe Thanksgiving is on THURSDAY? I am so excited for Turkey Day! We are hosting, as we always do, so this week is all about the prep! I’ll be running errands all week to get ready and easy, casual looks will be what I’m wearing all week. My favorite leather leggings, a plaid tunic, and this fun oversized jean jacket make for a quick and easy look to do ALL the things. Isn’t this jacket cool?? When I spotted it online, I loved how different it was! The velvet lace up bows gave this otherwise masculine, boxy style a little bit of a girly edge, which you know I’m all about! It’s also only $36; a total steal.
Styling an oversized jean jacket can be a little tricky… it’s all about the proportions and what you’re pairing it with! I love the idea of pairing an oversized jean jacket with leather leggings. When you wear leather leggings, you really need to pair them with a top that offers more coverage so oversized styles look best. Another way I would style an oversized jean jacket would be thrown over a cute little dress. Important: if you’re pairing an oversized jean jacket with a dress, make sure that the hem for the dress is shorter than the jacket! That’s the trick to getting the look right.
You absolutely need these leather leggings! Everyone raves about them and for good reason! They’re SPANX, so you look super skinny in them. You’ll wear them all year long, they’re worth the $.
