Fall Transitional Romper

I can’t even believe that we’re talking about fall, but… it’s basically here, right? Over on the ‘gram, I’ve seen so many girls already putting out fall decor and breaking out the pumpkins. While I think it’s still a tad early to jump on the pumpkin bandwagon, it’s definitely time to start talking transitional style.

As much as I’d love to pull out the sweaters, it was 101 degrees the other day. Not even kidding. The Savannah countdown clock is officially at t-minus 9 days and even the weather over there is between 73-90 degrees. Not exactly sweater weather either.

So, I’ll be biding my time. In the meantime, I’m enjoying the last few days of the season and figuring out ways to subtly channel fall without melting into a puddle.

This long sleeve romper is perfect for that! The floral is a bit of a darker pattern with touches of maroon, navy and olive. The long sleeves hint at cooler weather, but the chiffon fabric and open back keep it on the cooler side.

Perfect, right? I absolutely love this chic little number and will be pairing it with booties next time I wear it! i was a little nervous about the fit, seeing as how the sleeves were so voluminous, but I actually think I looked pretty skinny in it! (Skinnier than I feel, that’s for sure! haha!)

I actually wore this to taudrey’s 10th birthday party a few weeks back and realized that I snapped so many photos on the roof of the 1 Hotel that I had enough for a blog post lol! Isn’t the 1 Hotel gorgeous?? I absolutely love the rooftop pool area there. If you’re visiting Miami, I can’t recommend it enough. (Spoiler alert: it’s insanely pricey, but if you can swing it, I think it’s totally worth it!) The pool area actually opens to the public after 7pm, so there’s also that. (Thinking about popping back over to shoot some outfits haha!
