Eyelet Romper in Chicago + IT Cosmetics Instagram Giveaway

I was so excited to head to Chicago over the weekend for The Blog Societies’ 5th annual blogging conference! If you have no idea what a blogging conference is, it was a three-day conference of workshops and panel discussions about blogging and photography, networking with brands, and having an absolute blast with some of my fave blogger babes. I love blogging conferences, you always leave inspired and motivated to get back home and work on your blog.

One of the things I was most excited about was meeting some of my favorite bloggers in person for the first time. It’s a funny business… there are SO many girls who I feel like I know and maybe even consider friends… but we’ve never met in real life. We’re like… pretty nerds who have internet friends lol.

Anyway, it goes without saying that you definitely want to be wearing a super cute outfit to every conference event. You’re taking tons of photos and hanging out with other gals who have adorable wardrobes… packing was definitely stressful! Luckily, my friends at Bloomingdale’s came through for me with some adorable outfits. I totally love Bloomingdale’s and always have good luck finding cute dresses and pieces there. (Plus they do incredible sales constantly… which I am alllll about.)

I popped by my local Bloomingdale’s and was instantly attracted to this pretty eyelet Lovers + Friends Malia romper. (Yes, I know that I seem to have a teensy bit of an eyelet obsession right now…. not sorry.) The details on this romper are so pretty. The fit was also really flattering! (Elastic waist, thank you.) I loved the cold shoulder and open back. The subtle ruffle was sweet and sassy at the same time. A white romper is also just a great base piece in general and the perfect canvas for some great accessories! This romper is also on sale right now, 30% off! I decided to go for pink ombre layered tassel earrings for a pop of color and my go-to block heels that are so comfy. This easy romper was the perfect outfit to wear to the opening night cocktail party hosted by Vera Bradley.

I absolutely HAD to visit the flamingo wall… Chicago has some amazing murals! Totally Insta-worthy!
