I just can’t stop, won’t stop wearing light pink and blush right now. It’s kiiiind of my go-to color, of course. But this fall, it seems like blushes, mauves, and burgundies have basically taken over the world. Not complaining. I LOVE a good blush moment. When the gals and I headed to Boston, everything I ordered in preparation of the trip was essentially pink.
I’m a huge fan if pairing my pinks with black and white… it’s just such a fresh and modern combination and the pink really helps give what could be a boring black and white a true pop of color. Our first full day in Boston, we headed out sightseeing and I knew I wanted to be cozy and comfortable, but also stylish. I think that’s basically achieved anytime you wear a black and white stripe tee! I bought this one last year and they keep bringing it back! Meaning it’s definitely a staple.
I decided to throw on this cozy, fuzzy cardigan. I am obsessed with it. It’s such a beautiful color, but also… it’s just COMFORTABLE. It’s like wearing a big, warm blanket. I found myself reaching for it time and time again on the trip. It’s only $22.90 and available in 5 colors. (Can’t even decide which color is best! The heather gray is amazing, the olive is so so good!) It was the perfect cardigan for travel, too. When I took the train to New York, I opted for the cardigan and snuggled up in it the whole ride.
These jeans are my go-to… they have just the right amount of stretch, are the perfect wash, and are always on sale, usually for $15 or $20. (Right now, this classic blue wash is sold out but they’re available in a dark wash and a light wash and are on sale for $20! I love the dark wash!) My favorite thing about Old Navy jeans is that if you shop online, they have the short and long sizes. Since I’m petite, I love that I can order a short and get the right length on my jeans! Like these are an ankle crop and I LOVE IT! If you’re really into the wash and prefer that to this fit, these Rockstar jeans are equally great and about the right wash.
I can’t even begin to tell you about how obsessed I am with this Vera Bradley bag, the Mini Marlo. It’s a GREAT size, even my big DSLR camera fits into it, with 2 lenses when I went to Disney World this past weekend! I am so impressed with the newest generation of Vera bags… it’s truly a whole new brand! This bag is available in other colors including the most amazing merlot shade.
The Boston Public Library is so, so beautiful isn’t it?? What a gorgeous building, I couldn’t help but snap some photos in front of it! The architecture is amazing.
