The Best of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale + $1000 Nordstrom Giftcard Giveaway

If you follow ANY bloggers, you no doubt are more than a little aware that today is the first day of Early Access to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! Truth be told, everyone’s been talking about the sale so much, it feels like its been going on for ages. In case you’re not familiar, you can totally check out this post that gives you the skinny on the sale.

The Nordstrom Anniversary sale is probably the biggest sale of the year. Whereas other sales are typically clearance and markdowns, Anniversary is all about new, next season merch. Nordstrom partners with their vendors to roll out their fall assortment at a deep discount when it hits the floor for the first time. Come August, prices go up. Now, I get it. It’s summer. MID-SUMMER. Here in Miami, that means it’s basically 100 degrees. The last thing I really want to do is wear a sweater! But trust me, you want to stock up on next season’s essentials NOW. Cozy sweaters, great cardigans, leather leggings, jeans, boots, blanket scarves… you name it, it’s on sale. You really won’t  be able to get deals on boots and booties like this later in the year. It’s also a great time to stock up on basics like tees and leggings.

I’m going to be covering the sale and keeping you updated on restocked items, but first up… the first sale roundup! I perused the sale to pull together the very best pieces in each category. Now, remember that today is the first day of early access. That means that you can only shop if you have a Nordstrom debit or credit card. The sale opens to the public on July 20. So if you don’t have a Nordy card, sadly you will have to wait until then to shop. In the meantime, make a list of what you want so you can jump on it right away when the sale opens! If you have a Nordstrom card, make sure you shop the sale ASAP. Things do tend to sell out so you’ll want to take advantage while you can!

Wanted to specifically call out a few pieces:

• NOW is the time to buy Tory Burch riding boots! They’re on sale for $299.90 and after the sale will be $498. They’re available in both black and cognac.
• These Baublebar tassel earrings are already in my shopping cart. DYING for the rose gold color!
• This gold Rebecca Minkoff Love bag is on sale for $129.90 and will be $195 after the sale.
• These AG legging jeans have been a Nordstrom best seller the past 3 years in a row. They’re amazing and on sale for $149.90 but they’ll be back to $225 after the sale.
• My favorite Spanx leather leggings are on sale for $64.90 and will be $98 after the sale! These are my favorite, I bought them last year and they’re so worth it! (Make you look super skinny!)
