Striped Blazer + Button Down + Jeans

February is here, loves! One full month into 2016, can you believe it? I know I can’t! I love February… Valentine’s Day, my little sisters’ birthdays, it’s a short month, the weather gets sort of chilly in Miami… lots to look forward to!

My sister Megan was here over the weekend and we had a nice time! It’s always fun when she comes down from Tallahassee to spend the weekend with us. We went out to dinner and just spent time together as a fam.

Ok, so let’s talk about this lewk. I love this striped blazer! It’s only $25.99! You may remember it from this post, which is a pretty different way to style it, no? I wanted to keep the look simple, classic, and chic.

I thought… hey, why not pair it with this white boyfriend button down? Just got it in from Old Navy. It’s super comfy and was on major sale! I really love it, but have one minor complaint… it does NOT stay unwrinkled. I swear, I steamed it twice and by the time I shot it, it was a little wrinkly. That’s not necessarily TERRIBLE- depends on the look you’re going for. I don’t particularly mind it, it was a great deal, and it’s nice and soft. That’s the tradeoff- a non-wrinkle shirt will be super stiff. So. Pick your battles.

I ordered these great jeans in two different colors from Old Navy and was really impressed with them! They’re comfortable and soft, stretchy, and a great color. I ordered two color ways- the light and medium. To be honest, the color was almost identical. I prefer the light, though. I actually took advantage of the fact that you can order SHORT sizes online at Old Navy, so scooped these up in a 4 short. AMAZING! For once in my life, a jean is truly cropped without my having to hem it up!

WE MUST discuss this amaze necklace! How pretty is it?? My friends at Swell Caroline sent it over and I love, love, love it! It’s available in two colors. I loved the blues and greens of this one. If you’re on the hunt for anything trendy, preppy or monogrammed, definitely check out Swell Caroline.

Seriously can’t stop wearing these shoes. I know, I know. The nude is sold out. SERIOUSLY, get on the wait list. I missed them the first time around, too. Put myself on a waitlist and snagged them the SECOND they restocked! Don’t forget- the black/tan IS available in all sizes! I definitely recommend them, too!

I really like this look. I love all the pieces in them, they’re all great basics that you’ll get a ton of mileage out of. They work well together and with pretty much 90% of your closet! How easily could you swap out the blazer? Change the shirt? Wear the shirt with everything you own? Pair the jeans with all your tops? I mean… definite closet workhorses.
