Let’s be honest, I don’t really need an excuse to wear pink, but Valentine’s Day seems like a darn good one, right? Naturally, I take full advantage of the holiday and the full month of February, you can basically find me wearing any and every shade of pink. Sure, red has its moment for me, but really… I’m all about the blush tones. Seeing as how it’s Miami, layering has to be done thoughtfully. When I spotted this lightweight trench coat in the most gorgeous shade of blush, I knew it was a piece I absolutely needed to have in my closet. (Plus, it’s $37.90 price tag? Total steal.)
While we’re all on the hunt for the perfect Valentine’s Day date night look, we can’t forget about the day time, right? I love putting together casual VDay daytime looks! (Or, I mean, if you’re planning something low-key on Valentine’s Day night.) I love mixing shades of a color and hot pink was just such a great complement to the blush tone of the jacket. I’ve been looking for any excuse to wear these gorge Baublebar beauties and I suddenly remembered that I had these Sam Edelman pumps from last year! Obvi they’re no longer available, but Sam Edelman has this style this year, that looks to be the same style with a lower heel. (Honestly, I think I’d prefer the lower heel, these are kinda high.) If you don’t love the d’Orsay style, you can go for this classic pump that’s the same shade as well.
The earrings I also wore here and I’m just obsessed! They’re available in 4 colors and sold out, like, right away! There’s a wait list for them and Baublebar is going to release more, so make sure you get on the Waitlist! I’ll keep you guys posted when they come back in stock.
You know me… leopard=neutral and my fave clutch was the perfect finishing touch with this look. I just love pink and leopard together. Blame it on the Barbie lover in me. YOLO. (FYI if you’re wondering about the clutch, make sure you check out this review of it!)
