There’s just nothing like the ease and simplicity of a t shirt dress. T shirt dresses are my summer go-to for working from home, running errands, traveling, you name it. BUT, not every t shirt dress is created equal. While soft jersey is the most comfortable, they’re typically not the most flattering.
When I spotted this AQUA t shirt dress at Bloomingdale’s, there were a ton of things I loved about it: the flutter sleeve, the teal color, and most importantly, a slightly heavier fabric that ended up being uber flattering. The dress is lightweight without being too flimsy and has a bit of structure without being constricting.
I wore this t shirt dress and jean jacket to travel from Miami to Chicago for TBS Con, and it was the perfect travel outfit! Comfortable yet still polished. With some layered monogram necklaces and a low block heel, this outfit is a current fave right now. Now if only it was available in more colors. Wah.
In the meantime, I’m on the hunt for even more t shirt dresses, because I feel like this can and should be my new uniform. (Have my eye on this beauty!)
