It’s that time of year again! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale has officially opened for early access to its top tier “Icon” status members. Now– I get it. That is definitely NOT most of us. I’m personally only an Insider, which means that I won’t have access to the sale until August 13th. (I’m sure most of us are in the same boat!)
But, I figured I’d share my sale picks as of now, to benefit those lucky few of you gals who have achieved “Icon” status. (Or one of the other top-tier levels of the Nordy Rewards Club!) 🙂

Now… let’s be honest. This sale? Seems basically the same as every other year. The merch isn’t necessarily groundbreaking and I’m not really all that impressed. Low stock, not a ton of styles, and most of it… we’ve seen before. But, I’ve always said that it’s a good time to stock up on premium denim, boots, coats, and beauty exclusives that are all exclusively available during the sale and ring up at a great price.
I’ve gone through and picked out the items I think are worth picking up as well as what I feel is a waste of time. Basically, I went through all 34 pages of the pre-sale and earmarked what I thought was worth the splurge for you!

I think that NSale is a great time to splurge on some great fall boots. Since boots are historically pricier items, I think they make a great splurge for the new season. Plus, it’s great that can you can snag the latest styles on sale, before the season, not in the spring as a clearance find. I think Marc Fisher styles are the best deal, or you can score some trendy Steve Madden styles under $100!

Designer sunglasses, bags, and jewelry make great splurge items too during the sale! NSale has some on-trend Ray-Ban styles on sale and some great Kendra Scott pieces at a discount.

The thing with NSale beauty finds is that they tend to be sale-exclusive sets you wouldn’t be able to snag otherwise. I’m psyched for the Becca Hydra-Mist setting powder which is my FAVORITE setting powder and usually rings up for $39. (Pick it up on sale for $23.20!) If you have your eye on a premium styling tool from GHD or T3, NSale is also a great time to finally invest. The wildly famous Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk lippie is part of a set you can get for $68.
MOTO JACKETS Gray Suede Jacket • Tan Suede Jacket
The BLANKNYC suede moto jackets have been a blogger fall fashion staple for years and NSale is the best time to get your own.
OK, honestly, the crazy pricey Barefoot Dreams leopard blanket is a yearly fixture of the sale and if you want to spend $119 on a blanket, this is the time.
The other thing I always recommend picking up during NSale is a pair of Spanx leather leggings, as they rarely go on sale and you can grab them for $68.
JEANS Levi’s Ribcage Jeans • Free People Ripped Jeans • STS White Jeans • Good American Cropped Skinny Jeans
Premium denim is the main thing I tend to go for during the sale. Levi’s, Free People, or Good American can all be scored at a deep discount and you’ll wear them A TON.
