People are CONSISTENTLY surprised when they hear how old I am. I get it – age is just a number, you’re only as young as you feel, blah, blah, blah. But come on. I’m 36 and single. I’m absolutely thrilled when someone guesses that I’m in my 20s. (Usually they’ll go with 26, which is a big win in my book!!) It could have something to do with the anti-aging products I use. I like to say it’s just genetics, but I do put a lot of effort into my skin. Now, full disclosure – I have great genes. My grandpa looked 60 in his 80s and my mom looks nowhere near her age. Genetics are definitely working in my favor. But great genes aside… an effective skincare routine is just as, if not more, important. You don’t need to have great genes to remain youthful. So, what am I doing differently?
Mainly, I have integrated the NEW REDEFINE Regimen by Rodan + Fields. As I mentioned in my blog post on Multi-Med Therapy– the underlying causes of all of our major skincare concerns are usually complicated. OK, let’s get into the nitty-gritty: WHAT exactly is the REDEFINE Regimen and what do I think about the products?
As I mentioned before, REDEFINE Regimen is a 3-step skincare routine. While the system itself is a tried-and-true staple for R+F, the collection has undergone a bit of an overhaul and the relaunched collection is better than ever! STEP 1: CLEANSER

I love that we now have options on which cleanser to use! I love the Daily Clay Cleanser, but I don’t find that I need to use a clay cleanser twice a day. I prefer to use the Daily Clay Cleanser as a mask twice a week and the rest of the time use the Daily Foaming Cleanser.
I was pleasantly surprised at how hydrated my skin feels after using the Daily Clay Cleanser! Typically my skin feels dry and itchy after using a clay mask. Not so with the REDEFINE Daily Clay Cleanser. It also has a great smell and texture.
I absolutely love a creamy cleanser, so the Creamy Foaming Cleanser is my typical go-to for every day. This rich cleanser leaves my skin feeling super clean and soft as well as moisturized!
STEP 2: REDEFINE Pore Refining Toner

I actually love both morning Step 3 options! I choose which one to use for the day based on how my skin is feeling, what I used the night before, and what type of makeup I’m wearing.
If I used a face oil the previous night or my skin is feeling really moisturized, I’ll go with the lotion. I also usually go for the lotion if I’m wearing a mineral powder foundation or a full coverage foundation and am going full glam for the day.
If my skin feels a bit drier, I’ll go for the cream. Most days I find myself going for the cream, because I love a rich, luxurious face cream! I also go for the cream on days when I’m not planning on not wearing makeup and just letting my skin breathe, which these days seems to be pretty often!
NIGHT OPTIONS

I love the feel of the Overnight Restorative Cream and typically find myself using that. I try to alternate the cream and lotion and really love both, but the cream is it for me. I just like the feel of a heavier cream to go to bed!
FINAL THOUGHTS
I really love using the REDEFINE Regimen. I feel like it just makes my skincare routine quick, effortless, and easy. It takes the guesswork out of skincare. I can rest assured that the products I’m using are working together harmoniously and I’m not just using a bunch of products that are actually canceling each other out or not balancing to maximize my results.
