Today is my birthday!! I’m so excited to be celebrating with you guys… you truly are my people. This year as I reflect on another year of life and another year of blogging, I am just so grateful for all of you; your love, support, and the community we’ve built over the last 6 years. TO CELEBRATE– I’m sharing a BIG announcement!
You may or may not have noticed that a few things around here are different. Can you tell what they are???
FIRST… I redesigned my blog! Yes, there is a new site design that I am in LOVE with and so proud to share with you! I’ve been working on it for the last few weeks, hence the radio silence.
The site is easier than ever to navigate, and you may have noticed that I am now posting my DAILY OUTFITS! In addition to my blog posts 3 times a week, I will be sharing an easy and casual OOTD every day. I’m so excited about this! Now… I’ve updated the DAILY OUTFITS section with my most recent OOTDs, but going forward, this will be updated regularly. You’ll find all of those in the Daily Outfits tab.
Another big change– you may have noticed that you are now on StephaniePernas.com instead of ASparkleFactor.com. When I started my blog 6 years ago, blogging was really different. Everyone came up with cutesy names for their sites and I struggled to come up with something that felt like me and like what I wanted to reflect in my content. I knew that I wanted you to come here and feel inspired to be the best version of your self, to embrace what makes you special and unique.
A Sparkle Factor was always all about the thing that makes you stand out and makes you… you. OG readers may remember that the name was also initially tied to a personal styling business, A Sparkle Factor LLC! But… over the years, my content has evolved a lot and while my goals and heart have remained the same, the brand vision has changed, my content has changed, and I started to feel really disconnected from the name.
A year ago I decided I wanted to transition the site to StephaniePernas.com, but the logistics seemed overwhelming. There’s wayyy more work on the backend that goes into than you would think. I tried to transition my domain name earlier in the year, but quickly rolled it back once I ran into some problems I didn’t realize would come up. I resolved to try again soon when I had more mental bandwidth. A couple of weeks ago, I decided now was the time and just dove in.
Now, the site truly feels like a reflection of me and what I want to do. While I didn’t really plan to redesign, rebrand and relaunch the site on my birthday, it felt like perfect serendipity that it all happened this way.
So, cheers to 35. (Yes, 35, can you believe it?!) May it be the best year ever. Thanks again for all of your support and for being my BFF.
