Garnet & Gold

In honor of this weekend’s big rivalry game between UM and FSU, I thought it a good time to rock some garnet and gold in support of my ‘Noles! First up- the perfect garnet tank. I spotted this Lush scallop cami at Nordstrom awhile back and instantly thought “GAME DAY!” I love, love, love a scallop, first off. It’s a great layering piece. Next, I added this cute chiffon skirt. The print is a a sort of almost tribal chevron print. This denim jacket is my go-to. It’s MY FAVORITE. I wear it all the time on the blog, as I’m sure you’ve noticed. (Last seen here! And here. And here. Should I keep going?? LOL!) I had this idea that I wanted to wear a brooch, but while I hunt down the perfect one, (this might be it!) I just DIY’d it. And by DIY- I clipped an ear cuff and an earring onto my jacket. Not kidding.

I love the accessories I chose for this look! I’m beyond obsessed with these tassel earrings, in case you haven’t noticed. This leopard clutch is my new go-to… and it’s on sale for $19, you MUST snap it up!

So I’ll obviously be cheering on my ‘Noles this weekend! I love the idea of wearing a look that’s a bit unexpected, but still festive. Have you ever tried that?
