Happy Monday! I hope you had an amazing weekend! I was in Chicago for the Blog Societies’ 5th annual conference and had THE best time! If you follow me on Instagram, you got a peek at the weekend and conference. I had never been to Chicago before, so I was totally excited to visit the Windy City for the first time. As always, when you go somewhere for a conference, I didn’t really get a chance to fully experience all that Chi-town had to offer, which was a total bummer. What I DID see, however, I totally loved! (Plus, bonus points for some cooler weather! Such a relief to have a 60 degree day after the 100+ degree days we’ve been having here in Miami lately.) In any case, I’ll delve a little more into the weekend later this week with posts about what I wore, did, etc.
In the meantime, I wanted to share about this darling little eyelet peplum top that I’ve been obsessed with the past few weeks! First of all, it’s only $18. I mean. Come on. It’s super affordable and such a great piece that pairs well with jeans, pants, or shorts. The eyelet is really high quality and the fit was surprisingly flattering. (I find peplums can be hit or miss!) I particularly love the tie back! It’s such a sweet detail that really sold me on this top. I decided to keep it simple and classic, pairing the white peplum top with my go-to skinnies (in the medium wash! They’re on sale for only $15!) and the comfiest block heel sandals.
These block heel sandals are under $30 and go with basically everything. The nude is a really good universal shade and the shoes are totally wearable for long periods of time. I basically lived in them this weekend at the conference!
