Hey gals! Happy Monday! My little sis Megan was in town for the weekend from school, so it was nice to see her and spend some family time together. Friday night, we binged Fuller House like basically every other millenial in America. I’m sorry- but am I the only person who’s #TeamMatt?? Before watching the show, I thought I’d be rooting for a Steve and DJ reunion, but I just felt like he was so clingy and dweeby and just not right for her! I just didn’t feel that chemistry anymore. Matt on the other hand? Yowza. Here’s hoping the producers see it too in Season 2! How about you- were you #TeamMatt or #TeamSteve?
Now that it’s practically March, (Happy Leap Day!) we’ve gotten into the swing of the new year. Have you been keeping your resolutions? You may remember I set some goals in lieu of actual resolutions. So far, I think I’ve been doing ok! YouTube video? CHECK. Poshmark closet? CHECK. Curtains? CHECK. More outfits? CHECK. Still working on a few of the others! 😉
Not included in that post, were a few little style resolutions I had set for myself. Namely, adding a little more diversity to my wardrobe and implementing more separates. I love dresses and I feel like more often than not, I gravitate towards a dress. So easy, throw it on and go, right? When I’m not in a dress, I often go for a skirt. I’m not really big on pants, but from time to time I’ll go for a cute pair. (These pants are always a fave!)
Nonetheless, I fell in love with these black coated jeans when I saw them online- I thought they were a great piece that I would get TONS of use out of. A black coated skinny jean is perfect for those times when you want the comfort of a pair of jeans but want to be a little more polished and dressed up. They work for a GNO, work, date night, you name it. Oh yeah- and they’re only $18.
On Saturday, the day was cool and beautiful, and we headed over to the Miami Design District to wander around and enjoy the day. I decided to give my dresses a break and go for a casual and comfy look perfect for exploring. Decided to break out the black coated jeans, for probably the 5th time in a week. (I’ve been wearing them a LOT lately lol!) This outfit could easily be dressed up by swapping out my Converse for a pair of pumps or strappy sandals.
We popped into Ladureé for macarons and lattes and the day was just GORGEOUS. (You may have gotten a peek at it all on Snapchat or Instagram!)
This sweater is super cozy and was perfect for the chilly day. I really love the high/low hem. And it’s only $20! My friends at Fantas-Eyes sent over a replacement pair of my FAVORITE ‘Jazz Club’ sunnies. You KNOW I wear them all the time. I was devastated when I broke the leg a couple of months ago. They were definitely the finishing touch to my outfit! Plus, they make people watching really easy. 😉
