When it comes to beauty bag staples, the most effective and most loved products are often the most basic. I find that although I love to test and try everything beauty-related under the sun, I do gravitate towards the basics in the long term. (Shocking, I know, lol!)
After testing out the Vaseline Lip Therapy tins over the last few weeks, they’ve definitely earned themselves a permanent spot in my beauty routine. I even have a tin of the Original formula sitting on my desk! I reapply, like, 1,000 times a day whenever I feel my lips getting dry. (I also apply them to my cuticles to keep them from getting gross hangnails!) Since they’re made with 100% pure Vaseline jelly, I find that the Original is a great multi-tasker!
I love, love, love the Rosy Lips tin… not just because it’s pink either lol! The Rosy Lips gives just a hint of color, perfect for days you’d prefer to skip the lipstick or if you’re running out the door and have no time for makeup, you can at least have some color on your lips. (It doesn’t hurt that it smells like a mix of berry/vanilla/rose… super yummy!)
The Cocoa Butter lip tin is made with…duh…cocoa butter, but also has a super yummy cocoa/vanilla scent.
The Aloe formula obviously contains aloe… perfect if you need a little soothing.
The Lip Therapy Tins have been available in the UK for ages, but now they’re available in the US for the first time! They’re only $3.99, so you can scoop up multiples. (I have one in my purse, one on my desk, one in my bathroom’s medicine cabinet, one on my nightstand… lol!) The packaging is inspired by the original packaging from the 1880s… but they still look super modern. I love a good classic. The tins are the perfect size to fit into even the tiniest of purses.
