Gingham + Stripes

Easily my favorite spring 2016 trend, I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect gingham pant to incorporate into my wardrobe. You know me. I’m not really much of a pants girl. The quintessential girly girl, you can usually find me in a dress or skirt. It takes quite the special pant to turn my head and coax me out of the skirts I naturally gravitate towards. When I spotted these pretty printed trousers, I was immediately drawn to the flattering cut, fun print, and endless styling possibilities. (The chambray!! White button down? Easy tee? Silky tank? Wait wait… white crop top?!?! I digress.)

You know me and my deep love for a good print mix– mixing a breton stripe with a gingham is probably my new favorite spring pattern play. I love the clean and crisp vibe given off by keeping it classic in navy and white. (I mean, and who does classic polish and pretty better than Ann Taylor? No one.)

The thing I love most about this look is that you can easily take to the workplace; just lose the hat and swap out the espadrille for a pretty heel. Add a black blazer and voilá!
