Granted, if you were wearing this outfit to the office, you probably have a more fun/creative office. (I can think of nothing that would make me sadder than to have to wear a boring black suit to the office!) I’m all about the contrast and contradiction; the high/low mix, the casual/elegant combo, etc. For me, a lace pencil skirt and tee is an awesome, unexpected pairing that totally just works. Finishing the look with yet ANOTHER Target necklace, (I confess, I bought 4 at one time and have been living in them… they’re just so GOOD, can you believe they’re Target?!) I thought that a snakeskin pump and a soft denim jacket would be the perfect finishing touches. The jacket is Gap Factory from a million years ago. I bought it in 7th grade, and it’s literally on of the best purchases I’ve ever made. It’s soft, easy and never bulky. The pumps are the Nine West Gamin pump… if you’ll remember the wild search I went through to track them down! They’re no longer available, but this season, Nine West updated the style and released them as the Tessa. (Scoop them up, they’re fabulous and they’ve made them super comfortable!) Check out the look below and tell me in the comments: which is your fave look so far? One more tomorrow!
Tee: Old Navy (similar, similar) | Jacket: Gap Factory | Skirt: Forever 21 (similar) | Necklace: Target | Shoes: Nine West (updated style) | Lipstick: Cover Girl Lip Perfection in Hot
Love this outfit!!! Something I would totally wear!
This graphic tee series is fantastic! I can’t pick my favorite style, I just love them all. Now I must own this tee and I’m going to look fabulous because I am stealing all of your ideas! XOXO
I adore this look and it’s totally affordable! You can’t be that. I might need to go pick up that lipstick color.
