The shortest month is over and it’s officially MARCH. I can’t believe how fast 2015 is flying by. March is really, really busy for me so far, and I’m loving it! I’m working on an event that I can’t WAIT to share with you, if you’re in the South Florida area. It’s going to be awesome PLUS it benefits a great cause. Stay tuned for more. In the meantime, I’ve made a list of the 10 things I’m dying to try in March, and hope you will too! Check them out below and tell me in the comments: what are you trying in March?
1. Make a date with your girlfriends to watch Cinderella.
Cinderella was always my favorite growing up. (A story about accessories changing your life? Come on.) I was totally psyched when I heard there was a remake in the works! While I wasn’t initially thrilled that they cast Downton Abbey‘s Lily James as Cinderella, after seeing previews and trailers, I’ve changed my mind! Plus, casting Cate Blanchett as the stepmother was a stroke of genius. Make a date for March 13th to catch the flick in theaters! (Fabulous shoes required.)
2. Add Clinique Chubby Stick Highlight/Contour Sticks to your makeup bag.
I’ve been really intrigued by Clinique’s latest product launches! From their new, full coverage, 2-in-1 foundation and concealer (Beyond Perfecting Foundation + Concealer) to these contouring Chubby Sticks, I’m definitely headed to a Clinique counter to test out these new goodies.
3. Buy fresh flowers
Lately, all I want is to have fresh flowers around. They just do something to make you feel HAPPY, don’t they? Can’t wait for June and peony season… but in the meantime, what types of blooms do you typically go for?
4. Shop Piperlime while you still can.
Piperlime is closing soon… take advantage and scoop you all your faves! I have my eye on sooo many goodies, it’s really not fair.
5. Pair navy and black.
Navy and black is just one of those color combinations that your grandma always told you were wrong, but really, are so, so right. The combination feels modern and fresh, but professional and edgy.
6. Netflix binge Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.
March 6th, our newest Netflix obsession hits the streaming service! I can’t wait to watch the comedy, produced by the team behind 30 Rock, Tina Fey and Robert Carlock. Basically, it’s about a woman who moves to New York after escaping a doomsday cult and looks to be a heartwarming comedy. After hearing good reviews about the trailer, I think this could be one of the best Netflix comedies in recent times. Honestly, can’t wait! (Hopefully I’ll be done by House of Cards by the time it hits!)

7. Try a negative space mani.
Isn’t it weird that the next step in nail art is… no nail polish? Love it. Try it out.
8. Book a Closet Edit.
Spring is creeping up on us, so it’s the perfect time to book a closet edit package! Let’s go through your closet and get it ready for the new season. (BTW- we can do this even if we AREN’T in the same city! Amazing right? Email me.)
9. Give gingham a try.
Gingham is a HUGE spring trend this year. I can’t wait to integrate the print into my wardrobe. (I’m gravitating more torwards the larger gingham prints, they feel more modern than the smaller ones!) Love this skirt. Need it.
10. Swap your ballet flats for espadrilles.
Particularly obsessing over lace espadrilles lately! They go great with jeans, a little dress, shorts… and they’re SUPER comfortable. (Needing these gorgeous, under $100 Soludos!)
I’m so bummed that Piperlime is closing! I feel like I’ll drown my sorrows in binging that new netflix show. It looks hilarious. Not surprised knowing Tina Fey is associated with it.
Ellie Kemper is so charming, too! I’m excited. I haven’t finished House of Cards yet, though!!
I’m sad about Piperlime too… waiting for the massive sale that should inevitably happen though!! (We’ll drown our sorrows in fabulous bargains.) 😉
Hey there, hun. It’s been so long! Can’t wait to hear about this event you’ll be having. Sounds exciting!
