Weekend Getaway Essential: Jungle Print Midi Dress

It’s totally a fact– no beach vacay is complete without the perfect jungle print midi dress. I picked up this Mara Hoffman dress at Bloomingdale’s before our getaway to Bonita Springs last week; it was perfect for my little sister’s 25th birthday dinner! I couldn’t resist the super-sexy cutouts and the halter style… I am OBSESSED with the back of this baby! It’s basically the perfect summer vacation dress. (ALL the heart eyes for it, seriously.)

So, interesting fact. I styled a fashion show a few months ago for Bloomingdale’s and learned ALL about the 100% Bloomingdale’s styles. If you don’t know, Bloomies carries 1000 exclusive styles from 100 designers every season. It’s kiiiind of a big deal! There are always some different and unique pieces you won’t be able to find anywhere else, which I love. This Mara Hoffman dress is totally one of them!

A word about the dress— it’s supposed to be midi, but on my 5’2 frame, it’s really almost a maxi. You tall gals will be able to rock it as it was meant to be, as a midi, but us shorties will enjoy having a maxi that doesn’t drag on the ground, am I right? LOL! I took advantage of this opportunity and paired the dress with a flat fringed sandal.

The earrings actually are also 100% Bloomingdale’s! Baublebar carries the tassel hoops in turquoise, but the hot pink and cobalt blue colors and exclu to Bloomingdale’s. (Personally, I prefer the hot pink!!) They were the perfect finishing touch to the look, don’t you think??
