Gingham Skirt Outfit for Summer

Isn’t this skirt dreamy? This cotton gingham skirt just felt so right for hot summer days. It’s light, flowy, and so cute! A few weeks back I went on a veritable rampage of ordering every gingham piece under the sun. Gingham skirts, dresses, tops, rompers… you name it, I’ve got it. Come fall, those babies will have to go into storage, but in the meantime, I’m enjoying it as much as I can. (Then again, this is Miami, I could wear these gingham pieces year round and no one would bat an eye haha!)

I was at Target the other day, looking for a pair of neutral block heels that I’ve had my eye on when I stumbled across these gorgeous pearl slides! They look just like the Steve Madden pair that have been floating around, but at a fraction of the price! They’re only $25! I scooped them up immediately. OBVI. For some reason, they’re only available online right now in the tan color, but I found them in black at all of my local stores. Hopefully, they’ll add the black online soon… I’ll keep you posted on that. (BY THE WAY– the story about the neutral block heel is a doozy that I will share with you another day… lol!)

Also wanted to point out that I have FINALLY replaced my all time favorite ring! I was devastated when it was lost last year and just resisted buying a new one until now… because they’re only $16!! (They were $32 before!) You need to scoop up this ring if you don’t have it. And if you do… you should buy one for the inevitable moment in which you lose yours, as I did.
