Target Who What Wear: Stripe Tee + Floral Midi Skirt

If you checked out the blog yesterday, you no doubt caught a peek at this tee from the Target Who What Wear collection. Today, I’m sharing ANOTHER look using that tee, because I really wanted to highlight what a GREAT wardrobe staple it is.

Basically, this whole look is a Target Who What Wear look, because it’s really THAT GOOD. I love how the pieces all work together or separately. When you’re building a wardrobe, that’s the key- investing in key pieces that will work with other things in your closet to give you a ton of options in the AM when you’re dashing around trying to make an outfit work. (And really, I mean, this isn’t necessarily INVESTING! This tee is only $17 for goodness’ sake!)

You KNOW KNOW KNOW by now how much I love a print mix! The key? Mixing two prints with similar color schemes. The skirt and top work together because they both carry a black/white in their prints. THAT is what ties the look together.

I’ll be honest with you- this skirt is amazing and looks great, but it’s a little constricting on the legs. Remember that scene in the Sex and the City Movie where Charlotte is hobbling to the limo after Carrie’s failed first wedding?? Picture that. It’s not too bad, just know that you can’t exactly be taking long steps in it. But, I  mean, #worthit.
