Guys. It is JUNE. JUNE!!! Although summer is technically still a few weeks away, I think that we all get into the summer vibe once Memorial Day hits. Something about the long weekend just makes you want to live in a bikini and cutoffs, right?
I’m always looking for ways to dress up my favorite denim cutoffs for a more polished look. Pairing them with a pretty top and a ladylike shoe gives them a slightly more grown up edge and definitely less of a beach vibe. I am still living in these high waisted distressed jean shorts… they go with everything from basic tanks to dressier tops. (Remember to size up!! They run super small.)
This one shoulder stripe ruffle top came in over the weekend and I didn’t waste any time integrating it into my wardrobe. I love the pretty ruffle, the one shoulder, and of course the delicate pink stripe. My whole closet right now is basically pink, blue, and white. Not mad at it.
While perusing my shoe closet for the perfect shoe to complement the look, I was like, “YES, THE CAP TOES!” I know it’s an unexpected choice, but I felt like it really added some ladylike polish to the look.
