Saturday afternoon, I met up with one of my blogger besties, Nina from Law of Fashion for a coffee date. She is, like, mere moments from giving birth to her baby girl and I, being the worst friend ever, did not order her baby shower gift in time for her baby shower. It was back in April and we haven’t had time to catch up since Cinco de Mayo. Three days before her shower, I had the genius idea that I wanted to gift baby girl with my favorite chic children’s books. (I know that seems like a weird sentence, but… I promise, it’s a thing.) Being a major reader, I have such a soft spot for books. I really wanted to give her my favorite fashion-y books. So, I placed my order and it ended up not arriving in time… even though I have Prime. ::eyeroll:: I gifted her Eloise, I Had a Favorite Dress, Madeline, and Mitford at the Fashion Zoo. Mitford at the Fashion Zoo is actually so hilarious and features fashion people like Anna Wintour and Zac Posen with animal names lol!! I linked them below and a few other chic faves, perfect for a baby girl.
I loved catching up with Nina and spending some time just chatting. Time and time again, I just feel like I am so amazed at how many AWESOME girls I’ve met through blogging. After coffee, we popped out and snapped some photos of our outfits, because, come on. If you’re hanging with a fellow blogger and you DON’T shoot your outfit, did it even happen? No. LOL!
I’ve been wearing this leopard print shift dress a lot lately… it’s so comfortable, so versatile, and such a great price. It’s available in 7 different prints and colors and you can easily dress it up or dress it down. For our coffee date, I dressed it down with a flat sandal and a jean jacket. I actually also wore this dress more dressed up for my sister Kaitlyn’s high school graduation recently! My aunt actually was wearing another print to my sister’s graduation brunch a few days later and we were comparing notes on how great it is!
BTW– these sandals? AMAZING Valentino Rockstud gladiator sandal dupe!! I’ve been wearing them a lot this summer. They’re only $27.99 and really make ANY outfit 1000x better!
