Before heading out though, I spent the morning writing thank you notes… something that I kind of think is a bit of a lost art! I don’t feel like many people send out thank you notes anymore, and really, why not?? If you get a really nice gift or opportunity, I think it’s really sweet of you to reach out and express that gratitude to the person who gave it to you. As a blogger, I often send them to brands I work with, or always include them in my Poshmark sales!
It was time to stock up on some new cards, so I was excited when my friends at Basic Invite reached out about their line. If you’re not familiar, Basic Invite is an online company that creates custom invitations, stationary, business cards, printables, wedding websites, you name it! What I love is that every single product they sell is 100% customizable… from almost unlimited colors to 40 different envelope colors, foil in rose gold, silver, and yellow gold (flat or raised!) and the ability to get a custom sample before placing your final order. They also offer address capturing services; you can share a link on FB, Twitter, Instagram or any other social media platform to request friends and family’s addresses. The addresses are stored in your account and can be selected during the design process. (This is extra great come Christmas when they offer address printing for no cost!!)
I decided on the Brush Script Thank You notes and customized the color to be a pretty blush. I wanted something simple and clean, with plenty of space to write out my thanks. I received my thank you notes quickly and the quality was outstanding! The cardstock was so creamy and heavy and they just felt luxurious.
