Happy Friday! I’m headed to Atlanta with Jaime next week and am busy planning some cute fall outfits to wear! I definitely have to get some shopping in this weekend to prep for the trip… it’s not necessarily super chilly over there yet, but it’ll be nice to have some slightly cooler temps and a break from the 90 degree days we’ve got going on down here in Miami. In the meantime, I’m slowly adding some cute plaids, moody florals, and lightweight sweaters to my wardrobe to ease into the new season. I’ve mentioned “faking it” before… and this top is a perfect example! It’s lightweight and totally wearable in the warmer days of September, but it’s still perfect for autumn! I love the tie sleeves and the subtle bell shape. I ordered it online for in-store pickup, and didn’t realize until I tried it on that it was a black and white plaid with a subtle pink stripe! (That made me love it even more!)
Can we take a second to talk about these jeans?? They’re the JBrand Maria, and I scored them for super cheap at Burlington, like, a year ago. I chopped them into distressed crops because they were crazy long on my legs, as JBrand jeans tend to be. I need to fray the ends some more, but I’m pretty pleased with how they turned out! (I’ve NEVER done something like that, DIY is not my strength lol!)
