Hotel Indigo Atlanta Downtown Review

Back in October, you may remember that Jaime and I headed to Atlanta for a few days for rS City Tour: Atlanta and for some slightly cooler weather. Last year, we planned this big fall trip to Boston with Nina and Lawren and had SUCH a good time. We wanted to do something again this year, but couldn’t work it out with everyone’s schedules. Jaime and I, however, decided to head to Atlanta for a mini-girls’ trip.

We stayed at the Hotel Indigo Atlanta Downtown, which is a member of the IHG hotel group. I really liked that the Hotel Indigo properties all have the style and intimacy of a boutique hotel, but they’re a big hotel chain so you don’t have to miss out on those conveniences and perks. Every employee we encountered was SO friendly and helpful. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay amazing, whether it was offering restaurant recommendations, complimenting our outfits, bringing me 25 hangers (LOL don’t ask) or accommodating my late check out request.

The rooms were chic and modern; I loved the wood tile floor and the bathroom had the most amazing wallpaper that gave me major Kate Spade vibes. (I may or may not have lay on the bathroom floor to take a pic of my shoes against the wall…) The bathroom had incredible lighting and there was a GREAT full size mirror by the door, which you know is #key for a fashion blogger.

We enjoyed breakfast both days downstairs at JP Atlanta, their in-house restaurant. Breakfast was INSANE. So, so delicious! We got a fruit bowl to share and basically everything you could want: eggs, waffles, Nutella stuffed croissants, the most delicious roast potatoes and chicken apple sausage. I am a huge breakfast fan, so it was definitely my favorite meal of the day! We also had a quiet dinner at JP Atlanta on our last night in town… and it was delicious as well! I’d definitely recommend the restaurant.

The Hotel Indigo Atlanta Downtown is a great, multi-purpose hotel for whatever you happen to need to come into Atlanta for, but I think it especially shines as a hotel to stay at when you travel for business. Particularly if you work in fashion… the hotel is actually attached to AmericasMart Atlanta, so if you are coming into town for meetings or market, it’s the perfect place to stay. Plus, there are 17 meeting rooms, free wifi, and a lot of workspaces. Jaime and I hung out in the common area one evening to work on our posts and loved it!

Here are a few of the yummy restaurants we ate at while in ATL:

Burgers at White Oak Kitchen + Cocktails

The TASTIEST Breakfast at JP Atlanta

Mexican at Alma Cocina

Salads and Yummy Yogurt Bowls at Upbeet

Yummy Salads and Flatbreads at Brezza Cucina + Pizzeria

The Most Amazing Italian Food EVER At Donetto

Overall, we had an amazing time in ATL and a great time staying at the Hotel Indigo Atlanta Downtown. If you’re headed to ATL, I would absolutely recommend staying at the property! Question– where do you stay in Atlanta? Have you ever stayed at the Hotel Indigo Atlanta Downtown? Let me know in the comments!

Thank you to the Hotel Indigo Atlanta Downtown for compensating our stay in exchange for this post. My opinions and experiences are, as always, my own. Thank you for supporting the brands who support A Sparkle Factor!
