I thought for today’s post it might be fun to share some of my current summer favorites! Lately, I’ve shared a bunch of things on Instagram that I love, but haven’t really mentioned them too much on the blog. Wanted to offer some additional thoughts on these faves.

The Best Light Up Selfie Case for iPhone: LuMee Duo
I’ve been wanting a LuMee case for ages, ever since I heard that Kim K uses one to light her selfies. I mean, if the selfie queen herself uses a LuMee case, it must be the best, right? I finally got my hands on one and I am obsessed!!
I love marble, so I was instantly attracted to the marble collection they have right now… and also, felt really strongly about getting the LuMee Duo, which has light panels on both the front and back, so you can light selfies AND regular photos. Miami Swim Week starts on Thursday and I have so many events coming up… I’m excited that all my selfies and photos will be well-lit even at night. I recently did InstaStories out at a restaurant and was so bummed out that the photo were so dark! For reference, I have an iPhone 7 plus.

Favorite Shoes: Adidas Superstar Leopard Sneakers
Aren’t these leopard sneakers sooo cute?! I got them a couple of months ago and they’ve become my go-to sneakers. I have a classic all-white pair, but I loved the leopard on these! Leopard is still a neutral, after all. The leopard detail just gives them an additional little “pop” that I’m so into! Remember to size down a half size… Adidas runs big! I’ve been styling these kicks with jeans, dresses, shorts… everything in my closet.

New Favorite Eyeshadow Palette + Summer Earrings + Bronzer
I’m a sucker for any and all Urban Decay eyeshadow launches, so you can imagine how excited I was when the Beached palette arrived at my door. Bronze/Copper shades are my go-to and I think they’re the most flattering on my skintone. My favorite shares are DAYBREAK, HEATWAVE and 16TH ST. The pigmentation on these shadows is really good and the colors are rich and vibrant. (Tip: if you’re using a shimmer shade, pre-moisten your brush with a setting spray like MAC Prep + Prime Fix+ to bring out the pigmentation and get that wet metallic look.)
The Urban Decay Beached bronzer has become a go-to as well… it’s a really pretty warm golden matte bronze that delivers that sun-kissed glow, without the sparkle that many bronzers have.
I’ve shared these turquoise Kendra Scott statement earrings before and I can’t get enough of them!! They’re available in 5 colors: hot pink, red, white, lilac, and turquoise. If you think they’re too big, this style is a slightly smaller version, and $80 less… but I say the bigger the better when it comes to earrings!

My Everyday Bag + Fun New Sunnies
I’ve had this easy everyday tote for a few years now and I still get tons of questions and compliments on it every time I wear it out. I’ve had people come up to me in the airport, I’ve been asked by the cashier at Dunkin’ Donuts, DM’d on Instagram, you name it. This bag is just my favorite. It’s a great dupe for the Louis Vuitton Neverfull, at a fraction of the price. I’ve raved and raved about this bag, it’s nothing new if you’re a longtime reader. Tried and true, this bag is just my go-to. You can customize the color, the print, the monogram style, the monogram color, basically everything about this bag is customizable with a price tag of only $160. They’re durable and tough and make GREAT gifts… I got my mom one for Mother’s Day last year and she carries it every day too! I can’t recommend this bag enough.
I picked up two pairs of these cute, affordable heart shaped sunnies from Amazon and I am obsessed! (I got both black and white!) They’re only $9.99 and a great dupe for the Saint Laurent heart shaped pair that are just everywhere right now. Super trendy items like this, I love snagging a good dupe. These sunglasses look so cute with swimsuits or paired with girly little dresses.

My Go-To Liquid Lipstick
I’ve shared this Anastasia Beverly Hills liquid lipstick a few times already and I just can’t get enough! I searched high and low for the perfect nude-pink lippie for ages and all of them were just too brown for me. The ‘Pure Hollywood’ shade is absolutely perfect for me! Just the right amount of color and not too brown. If you’re fair with more neutral undertones, this is the nude-pink for you.

Current Arm Party
While I aim to constantly refresh my arm party, I do end up gravitating towards some of my favorites or just layering more on more. (Isn’t that the whole point?!) I recently added a few new pieces that I find myself reaching for over and over again. I get questions about bracelet stacking all the time… it’s definitely an art! I like to start out with some beaded bracelets as a base, add a few personalized cuffs, and finish off with a pop of pearls.
My FAVORITE bracelets come from taudrey. I talk about taudrey all the time, but in case you’re not familiar, they’re a local brand who make the most gorgeous and affordable personalized pieces. They truly make the BEST gifts! I wear my Autograph cuff every single day, no fail. The base beads I use for my stack is currently the Charming Bracelet Set, a rose gold and pearl set that I am obsessed with!! To finish it off, I recently added the Wrapped in Pearls bracelet, which I’ve mentioned before was designed by my best friend, Kristin Leahy from Fancy Things. There’s just something so special about wearing a bracelet designed by your bestie, isn’t there?? It’s like a special friendship bracelet!

My Favorite Jean Jacket
Isn’t this pearl jean jacket amazing?? I love it so much! It’s the perfect piece to dress up my fun little summer dresses and it looks adorable with just about anything. The pearl detail is just so special and unique. I can’t get enough! Oversized jean jackets are totally the thing right now and I can’t recommend this one enough!

Cutest Ruffle Maxidress for Summer
Wore this maxi to dinner with Dona Paula and my gal pals! Jaime put together an amazing dinner party for us and we all wore the cutest black and white looks. I love the ruffles and the polka dots… and the silhouette was super flattering! It was a great length, even on my 5’2 frame I could pair it with flat sandals or wedges. Currently Watching…
I’ve been watching Mr Robot which is AMAZING! How did I not know what a good show this was?! I didn’t expect it to be “twist-y”, which it is and I love it. I just started watching it on Amazon Prime Video and was instantly hooked.
I also watched the PBS Little Women miniseries which I was so disappointed by. I love Little Women and I think the ’94 movie with Winona Ryder and Christian Bale was amazing… this miniseries? Not so much. I can’t even explain what I didn’t like about it. The storylines were rushed, half of the plot/exposition was somehow left out (even though the miniseries ended up running an hour longer than any movie adaptation?) and I found it to be confusing… and missing some of my favorite elements of the original story.
Last night I needed a Mr Robot break and started watching Victoria on PBS and it’s so good so far! You would think that since I enjoy stuff like this, I’d love The Crown, which everyone raves about, but I’ve tried twice and can’t make it through, I don’t know why! Maybe I need to give it another chance?
As for “live tv”, summer is always a slow time, but some of my fave shows are on right now, so I’m happy. (TOTALLY dying that there’s no Westworld or Game of Thrones right now! Thinking it’s almost time for yet another GOT re-binge, don’t @ me.) But, I’m watching Younger, The 100, Nashville and Girlfriends Guide to Divorce. (Younger and The 100 are two of my all-time favorite shows, if you haven’t watched either, now is the perfect time to get started!)
