I love a fun pair of sunglasses. Whether it’s a luxe pair of designer frames or a trendy and cute cheapie, swapping out your sunnies is the easiest way to have fun and change up your look. While I’m a total sunglassaholic, I can’t seem to own a pair without crushing, scratching, breaking, or losing them.
Because of my innate inability to keep a pair of sunglasses intact, I’ve taken to scooping up multiple pairs of cool, affordable alternatives and investing in only a few classic styles.
One of my favorite (perhaps under-the-radar) places to score affordable sunnies is in Nordstrom‘s BP section. Priced at $12, Nordy stocks all the cool styles and trends that only look luxe. Today I was on set for a photoshoot and ran in to snag a pair after totally destroying a pair of cool, mirrored aviators. (We were shooting on a rooftop and I desperately needed some shades!) I am so excited I had an excuse to add a cool pair of tortoise cat eyes to my collection! (Posting a pic on Instagram tomorrow, stay tuned!) I definitely have to go with the cat eye being my favorite. Good choice. I’d never even seen this section in a Nordstrom. Gotta check it out next time I’m stateside.
