Happy Monday!! I personally love Monday. I know some people really hate it, and when I had a traditional job, I did too. Now that I work from home/for myself, I really love it. I feel like it’s a great day to get organized. make plans, and tackle the week. Lately, I’ve felt kind of disorganized and scattered, so I’ve really looked forward to Mondays to sort of reset the clock, get back on track, and focus on what’s important. I get SO distracted by social media, online shopping (in the name of “research” of course!) and BUZZFEED. Starting off the week by making lists and setting some goals is the ONLY way I can make it through.

Seguing from Monday Blues tothis blue off the shoulder dress… you may have spotted it on Instagram a few weeks ago. I hadn’t gotten around to shooting it for the blog, but wore it over the weekend when we went up to Tallahassee to move my sister Megan into her dorm at FSU for fall semester! She went up for summer, as I’ve mentioned before, and this time around, I wasn’t going to go up for the move, but decided last minute to go help out. I always loving visiting Tally- it’s definitely a second home! Megan is following in big sis’ footsteps and majoring in Merchandising, so I was really excited to go up and show her around.
I LOVE this dress. It’s so flirty and fun! I wore it to the RewardStyle Master Class a few weeks ago and got SO many compliments! Plus- it’s only $15 and you can NOT beat that! It’s comfortable and easy and I love the bold cobalt color. I styled it with a basic nude strappy sandal and clutch, but I think it’d be great paired with some leopard or maybe a hot pink!
A few people have asked me about ordering from websites like Romwe and Shein. I was hesitant at first, but had a great experience ordering from Romwe. (They’re both owned by Shein!) I placed a pretty large order and returned a couple of things I didn’t like (one item I ordered didn’t really look like the picture, and the other just didn’t fit me right) and I had no problem returning and being reimbursed. Quality depends on the item.. this dress, I didn’t feel the quality was AMAZING, but the dress was cute, it didn’t look supercheap, and it was SO affordable… but, I ordered this white buttown down blouse and thought the quality was great! I think it really is a case of trial and error. I also highly recommend paying CLOSE attention to the sizing for each item. The measurements are listed in cm, just google a cm-inches converter and use that as a reference. Some things I ordered in a large, some things in a small! This dress I ordered in a small, btw. So, I’d definitely recommend it…I’m placing another order now and I’ll share my finds on the blog soon!
A word about the clutch– I LOVE IT. It was a gift during SBSCon and I LOVE it… the new, grown up Vera Bradley is so chic and polished. The clutch comes with a really sturdy gold chain, which I sometimes tuck into the bag or pull out depending on what I’m doing. It’s super roomy, the leather is beautiful and the blush is so pretty and perfect.
