I’ll be honest, sometimes when there’s a REALLY good sale on, I get crazy overwhelmed, want EVERYTHING, and then end up buying NOTHING because I couldn’t make decisions. (Isn’t that sad?) An occupational hazard of being a fashion blogger and stylist is that you’re looking at beautiful things all day every day that you wouldn’t mind having in your own closet. Restraint is key, or else, hello bankruptcy. While perusing the Nordstrom Anniversary sale this year (on a budget) I found myself marveling at how many amazing under $50 finds there were to choose from! While a sale like this one is a great time to splurge on something you wouldn’t normally, (like maybe a super luxe bag… have my eye on this one!) it’s also a great time to stock up on great everyday basics and fun trend pieces without breaking the bank. I’ve rounded up the very best under $50 finds, and put together a little list of what I ACTUALLY bought from the sale. (CAN’T GET OVER HOW GOOD THE TOTE IS.)
Some housekeeping: remember: it’s still Early Access for Nordstrom Cardholders until FRIDAY, when the sale opens to the public. If you want to shop the sale early, head over to Nordy and get yourself a card ASAP. (If you’re not into credit cards, which I’M NOT, get the Debit Card… you get all the same perks, without having to open a credit card.) Also… it’s DOUBLE POINTS! So if you shop now, you’re ever closer to your rewards. Keep in mind that you can definitely BUY online and set it for store pickup. They’ll email you back in an hour or so that it’s ready to go and you can just swing by, grab your bag, and avoid the hassle! (There’s a lot of great stuff I DIDN’T see in-stores that were available online.)
