By now, we all know… I’m no stranger to a good print mix. Whenever I spy a pretty patterned piece, my mind INSTANTLY starts calculating possible print combinations. The bolder, the better. If you caught my post yesterday, you know I’m CRAZY for this polka dot print Ann Taylor is doing right now! When I spotted the print in a cropped cardigan, I knew I needed both. Styling note: I love the idea of wearing this cardigan as a top… so fun. I initially planned to do that, but the proportions didn’t work on me as well as I had imagined. The addition of a crop top gave the look a little weight and balance and worked better on my frame.
These Ann Taylor gingham shorts are SO good for spring/summer. I love the high waist! Pair it with a chambray, a plain white tee, a lace top… there are infinite ways to style these perfect shorts. For some reason, I felt like I really wanted to do a crop top and top it with the little cardigan. (Probably because it’s already 90 degrees here in Miami!)
This look is the third and final look I styled with Ann Taylor… I hope you loved the pieces as much as I do! (If you missed the posts, you can check them out here and here!)
