Happy August! July basically flew by and here we are– practically at the end of summer. I love sharing my monthly favorites and lately, I feel like I’m loving so MANY things! My favorite change constantly, surely one of the pitfalls of being a blogger and always hunting for the latest and greatest, so sharing them on a monthly basis feels like a fun way to let you know what I’m loving these days.
Lately, I’ve been all about stacking rings and fell in love with AU-Rate… a New York-based jewelry company that creates beautiful, high-quality fine jewelry at super affordable prices. The pieces are all sustainable and ethically sourced.
I have two thin stacking bands that I’ve been wearing every day! You can score them individually or as a set, which I love.
Blogging, Unscripted Podcast
Danielle Gervino, a New York-based style blogger, semi-recently launched a podcast all about blogging and it is GOOD. I binged every episode and recommended it to at least 5 friends. If you’re a blogger, it’s a must-listen. She offers up some really thoughtful insight and actionable tips on Instagram engagement, the Instagram algorithm, negotiating brand deals, Pinterest and more.
As an experienced blogger, it can often be hard to find resources that aren’t really entry-level common sense stuff. Her podcast is great for both the newbie blogger and experienced blogger alike!
American Eagle Mom Jeans
I popped by American Eagle last week to try on their Mom jeans and was totally blown away by how insanely flattering they were! ESPECIALLY the Curvy Mom Jeans! (WOW!)
I ordered two pairs online because I wanted to snag the short size, available online only. It turned out that it was my lucky day– AEO was running a buy one, get one 50% off promo so I grabbed two pairs of Mom jeans for only $63! (I also got 25% off for shopping in the app!)
The promo is still going on, so get ’em while you can.
L’Oreal Les Macarons + Les Chocolats Liquid Lipsticks
On National Lipstick Day, I picked up a few lippies on sale at ULTA… and fell in love with the L’Oreal Les Macarons and Les Chocolats liquid lipsticks! Long-lasting, smell yummy, and come in such beautiful shades.
My favorite shades are: Candyman, Dose of Cocoa, Dose of Rose, and Framboise Frenzy.
The Society on Netflix
Just watched The Society on Netflix and it was so good! It’s basically Lost meets Lord of the Flies. A group of teenagers in a small town go on a field trip and return home to discover that all the adults have disappeared and they are completely cut off from the rest of the world. Really enjoyed this show, highly recommend it!
Casetify iPhone Cases
I LOVE phone cases and was recently introduced to Casetify. I love that the cases are super durable and easily customizable/personalizable. I got this pretty pink and lavender leopard print case and this neon sands case emblazoned with my name on it.
If you’re in the market for a new Apple Watch band they do those as well… I snagged this cheetah print Apple Watch band… LOVE.
With back to school around the corner, you should totally check them out for tech accessories like laptop covers too! They’re running a sale right now– 10% off 1 item, 20% off 2 items, 30% off 3 items with code: SHINE30.
Revlon Volumizing Hair Dryer
If you follow me on Instagram Stories, you’ve no doubt heard about this hairdryer. First of all, every blogger is basically obsessed with it. IT’S SO GOOD.
It honestly used to take me forever to blow dry my hair. Like… 30 minutes. When I started using the Revlon One-Step Volumizing Hair Dryer, that totally changed. My hair is dry, volumized and looks gorge in 15 minutes. I don’t even need to use a curling iron if I don’t want to or don’t have time– my hair truly looks good enough without it, which is a major shocker.
The Revlon dryer is available at a bunch of places, so it really depends on where you’re most comfortable shopping. It’s definitely available on Amazon. It was on mega sale during Prime Day and I know a lot of you snagged it then. (I’ve also basically sold everyone in my family on this dryer now lol! My sisters have it, my mom, my aunt, my cousins…)
