Surprise! It’s my very first personal style post! I’ll be honest, I was a little nervous about doing one of these. At first, I didn’t think I wanted to include a personal style aspect to my blog. But after thinking a lot about my goals and what A Sparkle Factor is really all about, I decided that I will be integrating some of my own personal style in posts from time to time.
The purpose of my blog, and really, my whole brand and business, is to inspire women to find their own sartorial voices and to develop their personal style. Hopefully, by sharing some of the tips and tricks I’ve learned in all of my years in the industry, you’ll be inspired to try some of them yourself!
So for my first personal style post, I thought I’d tackle an issue all women face in their closets… keeping the easy little black dress fresh! I have an amazing, amazing LBD I bought at H&M last year… it’s cotton jersey, boatneck, 3/4 sleeve with a drawstring waist. Unfortunately, the dress is no longer available, but it’s an easy silhouette that isn’t hard to find at another retailer. I love cotton jersey LBDs! They’re comfortable and easy while still remaining polished and chic. They’re super versatile and can be easily dressed up or down with a quick accessories swap. (A definite closet staple!) So how can you keep them fresh? Check out three ideas below, then let me know what you think in the comments! Tell me: how do you keep your LBD fresh?

Thanks, Signe! I really wanted to use pieces I feel most women have in their closets… it’s so easy to change up the look of a LBD! So glad you liked the post. x
