How stinkin’ cute is this little skirt set? Would you believe me if I told you I got it at Target?? Crazy, right? It’s basically impossible to walk out of Target spending less than $100. I walk in for, like, shampoo and walk out with a new lipstick, the concealer I’ve been dying to try, a new outfit, a pair of shoes, printer ink, a cute coffee mug… I could keep going! I’ve been consistently impressed with Target’s clothing options lately, in case you haven’t noticed! But, my MOM actually spotted this set recently when we were out and I was totally blown away by how cute and on-trend it was. (I mean, and the price, GIRL.)
I loved the idea of dressing the set up or down… it could totally work for a dressier occasion with a pair of heels or a more cazh vibe, which is what I went for here, with a pair of lace up flats and a jean jacket.
I think the thing I love most about the set is that… it’s a set. I’m going to be re-styling both the top AND the skirt next week for ya, but there are just SO MANY OPTIONS and so many ways they’d both work. I really love pieces like that; that you can re-work with other pieces in your wardrobe to build tons of outfits.
So these flats were part of that Charlotte Russe order I mentioned yesterday! How amazing are they?? Only $19.99!! They’re available in several other colors, but I really loved the taupe; I felt like they were a great go-with-everything neutral and I will get tons of use out of them!
