I don’t know if it’s just because this is Miami, or because it’s a super hot trend, but lately, Flash Tattoos are everywhere. Ipanema had a Flash Tat station at Mercedes Benz Swim Week and it was by far the busiest booth. I’ve never been a jewelry on the beach type of gal, (I value my gems way too much to ruin them with salt water!) so a flash tattoo is really the perfect way to incorporate a little sparkle into your beach day look. (ONLY problem is that you CAN’T use sunscreen on the spot where your gems are… so maybe just make sure that you’re not spending TOO much time in the sun! And really, they need to figure out a way to infuse them with SPF or something.) I was totally obsessed with the gorgeous mermaids at the LSPACE swim show. Between their beachy, wet waves, the pearl headbands and the shimmery flash tats, I was totally obsessed with recreating the look. (Except for the fact that MY hair? Definitely doesn’t look like that wet.) But a girl can dream, right?
