In typical Miami fashion, it’s been unbearably hot this past week. While many of my fashionista friends in different parts of the country can still get away with cute little moto jackets and other chic toppers, this close to the Equator, wearing more than is absolutely necessary feels like a punishment. So, instead of a spring outfit, this one feels more like a summer one. An interesting styling takeaway: you can fake a crop top if you knot your tee or tank at the right spot. (Seems obvious, right?) I know that I recently wore this Topshop skirt on the blog, but the truth is… I can’t get enough of it!  (I told you I was obsessed with the Rack.) Another styling note: I don’t typically condone wearing flats with a midi skirt. 90% of the time, it will read frumpy. However, I think that you can get away with it if you have the right pair of flats… an ankle strap or t-strap flat seems to be the exception. Tell me in the comments: What do you think?
