Let’s be honest, country music awards shows usually have way more worst dressed than best. In truth, girls like Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift have done wonders to help elevate Nashville’s fashion game, but it’s still a long way off from being a fashion must-watch. I did, however, peek at the carpet briefly, and was pleasantly surprised by Taylor Swift’s choice! Whereas Tay typically opts for red or sparkles for 99% of her red carpet appearances, she opted for graphic black and white separates by J Mendel that felt fresh and modern.
