9 Flawless Setting Powders Under $10

best drugstore setting powder

A few months ago I challenged myself to hunt down some great setting powders under $10. A good loose powder is the key to setting your makeup look and ensuring a flawless, long-lasting wear.

The key to a good setting powder is how finely it’s milled. (The finer, the better!) While some are better than others, all of these come highly recommended and will get the job done for a fraction of the cost of pricier high-end powders.

Setting-Powder-Under-10-1

Coty Airspun Powder

The Coty Airspun Powder has been called a great dupe for the Laura Mercier Secret Powder. It’s available in a few different shades, but I get the Translucent Extra Coverage. This is a great powder for baking, and what I use almost every day. Beware– it has a smell. It doesn’t bother me and I kind of even like it, but it has a very strong smell of powder… like… old lady powder if that description makes any sense. You can snag this loose powder for under $5 and the tub is huge… you get plenty of bang for your buck!

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder

The $5 Rimmel Stay Matte Powder delivers an airbrushed finish that locks in your makeup. A great option if you’re really oily and are trying to achieve a matte finish.

Revlon Candid Anti-Pollution Setting Powder

This is a pretty new product line for Revlon, it’s antioxidant and anti-pollutant. It’s free of oils, parabens, phthalates, synthetic dyes and fragrances. It’s available in a translucent shade and promises a lightweight, airbrushed finish with a blurring effect. You can snag it for $6.99!

ELF HD Loose Powder

I remember when this ELF powder first came out and everyone flipped for it! It’s still a tried and true makeup bag staple, and a great powder to snag if you’re in need of a cheap setting powder. You can grab it in translucent, shimmer or corrective yellow, depending on your goals.

COVERGIRL truBLEND Loose Powder

Started using this COVERGIRL powder about a month or two ago and have been loving it! I find myself reaching for it almost every day when I’m doing my makeup. I have it in both the Translucent Fair and the Banana shades. (I prefer the Translucent!) This is great quality and a great deal for only $7.99!

L’Oreal Infallible Pro Sweep & Lock Loose Setting Powder

This microfine loose powder is great for baking and delivers a soft-focus matte finish. I’m a huge fan of the Infallible product line, so definitely need to give this one a shot! You can snag it for under $8!

Maybelline Facestudio Master Fix Setting + Perfecting Loose Powder

My sister swears by this Maybelline powder, and she definitely knows what she’s talking about! It delivers a smooth, flawless finish and totally mattifies your skin. Snag it for under $6!

Makeup Revolution Luxury Baking Powder

This is another one of my favorites. I don’t love the packaging… you have to have something to pour it out onto! But the quality is good and it’s better if you’re looking for a luminous finish. Grab it for only $8!

Maybelline Fit Me Loose Powder

This is another of my sister’s drugstore go-tos. (I trust her opinion because she is basically a beauty guru and used to work at Ulta!) The only thing is that it is not available in a translucent shade… you have to grab it in a tinted shade. Only $5.39!

I’d love to know– have you tried out any of these setting powders? Do you have a go-to under $10 setting powder? Let me know in the comments!
